Ojibewa Stories contains audio recordings ofancient stories, mostly of the Anishinabee, Ojibewa, which have been handeddown by the Elders for many generations. They usually were told at nightnear the campfire to the children. Many of these stories were only told inthe winter so as not to upset the spirits who were supposed to be sleeping.The Keepers of the Sacred Tradition of Pipemakers had these stories put togetherto try to preserve them for all time. Most of the stories will have a moralvalue. Be honest, brave and humble, or how something came to be.
