Description
Now that the Buffalo's Gone

Ever since Christopher Columbus arrived in America, Native Americans have been forced to retreat in the face of the demand of whites for land and other resources. This program shows how Europeans, who came to America looking for freedom of speech and religion, forgot those freedoms when it came to the Indians, who did not view land as something to be owned and asked- Sell land? Why not sell the air, the clouds, the great sea? Did not the Great Spirit make them for all his children? One does not sell the earth upon which people walk.
