A Line Drawn on a Map

Living deep in the Canadian wilderness, the Lac La Croix band of Ojibway have fought to maintain their tradition of living in harmony with the land. This program looks at their dispute with U.S. game wardens who have denied them the right to guide fishermen on trips into their traditional waters and their struggle to overcome past problems of alcoholism, murder, and suicide, in order to return to their traditional way of life.
